There are a few things that have occured recently that most of the Unit probably have not heard or have yet to hear about.
Firstly, I would like to congratulate Corporal Salehan for receiving the award for Best Trainee(NCO) for the very recent NCO/Cadet IC Training Camp. Obviously being fit enough to endure the physical and mental challenges, Salehan has definitely surpassed all our expectations. If he continues with his positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm, he will definitely achieve wonders for the Unit. As for the rest of our newly appointed NCOs, continue to grow and strive for excellence. The entire Unit will soon be in your hands. Make it or break it, it is all up to you.
Not forgetting my dear newly appointed Cadet ICs who also went through the camp. You guys are still young and have the potential to do better. Observe your seniors. Learn from them. And always strive to be better than them. I am sure all of you will make it through with minimal problems. Also not forgetting our Best Trainee(Cadet IC), Lance Corporal Aloysius Tan. Despite being in unfamiliar grounds, surrounded by unfamiliar people, he still did his best and impressed the officers.
Well done NCOs and Cadet ICs for surviving and surpassing my highest expectations. Continue to improve. Continue to make the Unit proud. Continue to bring glory to EVG NCDCC's name.
