Well, as junyuan had just mentioned,
Syahir and Shazwan had spent quite a few hours today
changing the layout of the store, and i must say,
im very impressed!
u guys might want to take a look at it when the next training starts.
since the store of evg ncdcc has its layout changed,
the blog of evg ncdcc should do the same!
im not saying stuffs like changing the blogskin of this blog,
as much as i want to, i really dunno a blogskin that is suitable for it.
maybe all of u should keep a lookout for some nice, simple blogskins
and change it, its kinda boring cos this blogskin is here since forever!~
and its boring.
well, i will try to update after each evg ncdcc related trainings
talk about my thoughts, comments and some learning points.
so those who read it might be able to see things
the way i look at it, not just from the chowjinhui point of view,
but oso a CLT point of view, so u guys will know why some things happened
and why some things just didn't happen.
By the way, those people who dunno how to prepare their uniform
[this includes boots kiwi-ing etc.( or just suck at it)]
please contact me via my handphone: 92244261,
or add me on msn: tan_pian_yi92@hotmail.com
and address this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
I can see that boots kiwi-ing is a major issue among u guys..
so i shall try to explain it here, now.
before i start, let me say that there are many kiwi-ing methods
and this is just my method, which i think is fairly useful, if u think
that my method is not better than ur method, then u can just take it as
something meaningful..
okay, here i go,
treat it as a walkthrough.
Before i start on the method, let me say something about common mistakes.
firstly, there are still ppl who kiwi without applying water.. THEY WON'T SHINE
WITHOUT WATER. Thats why sometimes i see lumps of kiwi there and theres
no shine. Secondly, people only kiwi ONCE before coming to training, so they only
shine a little bit and it doesn't look good. These 2 are the most common mistakes
that cadets commit. So try not to make the same mistakes. Okay. Done with the
that. Now lets start on my method~
The cloth: DO NOT use a rough cloth to kiwi ur boots. This applies to all methods.
it will NOT work as far as i know and besides wasting ur time, it will also waste ur kiwi.
=x. well, my personal favourite is an old cotton tee shirt, preferbly not too thick. Other
types of cloth may or may not work, im not too sure.
The Kiwi: As the name suggests, use the KIWI Brand shoe polish and not some other
kuku brand, they truly sucks a million and again, they will just waste ur time. The size
of the kiwi is not important, but i recommend those smaller ones, although u need to change
it often, but the quality of the kiwi is maintained as it will not be exposed to air for longer
periods of time and will thus dry up, becoming nothing but a pile of ****.
The steps: My method is quite easy, firstly, u wet the area of the shirt which u will be
using( or just wet the whole shirt if u r lazy), squeeze the shirt/cloth dry, make sure its
hand-dry, too wet or too dry is bad. Put the cloth over 1 of ur finger (index finger for me)
and apply some kiwi onto it. Apply as much as u want but of cos, not too much.
As u move ur finger cum cloth rounds on the kiwi surface rite, just move till its kinda smooth
DUN APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE. As times go by u will noe the right amount. Armed with
kiwi-covered cloth, just go round and round on the front part of ur boot and continue
until it gets shiny. U do this for one boot and do it on the other. Wait for awhile, around the time
after the kiwi coating sort of dries up, den u repeat the method for a 2nd coating. Do a couple
coating till u are happy and it will look up fine. For any questions or needing a demo, please
contact me. P/S. this is for kiwi black shoe polish, i havent try it on neutral, but it should
be almost the same, although please remember to use black and neutral together and not
just neutral. My method does not require neutral kiwi to shine. (:
