CCAs are suspended for this week.( 31st July)
Despite that, I have a piece of good news to share.
Our Sec 2 NCDCC cadets (Dean, Sofia and Aloysius ) have done our school proud as we managed to get into the finals of the annual inter-unit Quiz for the first time this year. (*applause applause)
This inter-unit quiz is 1 of the 2 national level competitions that our HQ organized each year. In addition to that, only 4 teams are in the finals. That would mean that we are one of the top 4 teams in Singapore. (*applause applause again!!)
As a result of that, our school is allowed to send a total of 30 cadets(instead of 10 for the others), together with teacher-officers, to watch the finals. Our principal, Mr Chan is also invited for the finals.
The details of the inter-unit quiz are as follows:
Date: 28 Aug 2009 (Friday)
Time: 3 pm (Finalists are to report by 2:30 pm, not including reserves)
Location: Home Team Academy Auditorium
The Guest of Honour for this event is SAC Derek Pereira, Chief Executive of the Home Team Academy (HTA).
The attire for the day is No 4 Smart Uniform for all cadets with Jockey Cap.
