Activity: NCDCC trip to Malacca Civil Defence Force
Purpose: Engage younger cadets to have interaction with our regional partners. It is also in alignment with Ministry of Education's direction to heightened the awareness of Singapore as a global village in the Internationalising Singapore initiative.
Details: 1 Secondary 2 Level cadet to participate in this trip to Malaysia, the State of Malacca. Nomination would be preceded with a short interview and preparatory training (if necessary) to allow the maximum benefits from the exchange with the Malaysian Cadets.
Cadets who are sent on the trip would be expected to co-pay the amount and the rest subsidised by the Ministry of Education.The amount is not expected to be more then SGD$ 150 / = and this covers transportation, board and lodging and all activities planned by NCDCC HQ. It does not cover spending money on personal items like gifts and souvenirs etc as this is purely on own estimated expenditure
This amount would be made known to the cadets during the interview/briefing. Cadets would also be expected to prepare a presentation after the trip for their schools to allow a transference of knowledge and sharing of experience to their fellow cadets within the Corps and as such
